Backfilling Requirements for Borings |
Bentonite or volclay, overdrill and remove casing and filter material.

Backfilling Requirements for Monitoring Wells |
If overdrilled and boring cleaned out - grout with bentonite. If abandoned with casing in place - pressure grout with cement grout, cut casing 3 ft below ground surface and mushroom cement over casing.
